The summer updates for the WinGPS 5 2014 versions of Navigator, Pro & Voyager are available.WinGPS 5 2014 license holders can update their software using the news center.
We advise license holders of WinGPS 5 2013 to purchase an upgrade to the newest version. You can buy this upgrade from €60,- in our online shop.
What's new in this update?
In WinGPS Navigator, Pro & Voyager 2014
- The waterway network is updated and expanded with more ports and changed operating times for bridges and locks in Friesland and Groningen.
- Improved display of bridges and locks. Now you can turn on/off the names
- The settings for waypoint groups will be saved. You can turn off the database per chart set.
- Search function in edit route is updated with names and places of bridges and locks.
- Improved display of GribUS
- Improved waypoint management.
- Now you can install unlimited hybrid charts. Previously this was a limited factor.
In WinGPS Pro & Voyager 2014
- New AIS port for instrument manager. Now the default port on 38400 instead of 4800 baud rate.
- Now virtual AIS buoys will be displayed.
- Storage and reading configuration in instrument management
In WinGPS Voyager 2014
- Display of momentum vector in polair diagram now also available with route planning.
- 2014 database of polar diagrams with 1509 types of sailing ships.
